Background

In 2015, a group of dedicated community members came together to create an event to foster community building for our transgender/gender non-conforming community. Since then, professionals have asked for a space to ask their questions and gain a broader understanding of the needs of people who identify as transgender or gender expansive. We are delighted to announce this 1st annual TRANSLIFE Professional Symposium to equip, empower and connect professionals and interested community.

100% of the profits from the TRANSLIFE Professional Symposium will go towards the annual Sonoma County Rural TRANSLIFE Community Building Conference, that is committed to providing an inclusive space for anyone on the gender spectrum. This includes individuals who identify as transgender, genderqueer, gender fluid, two-spirit or questioning. This year’s 3rd annual community conference was held on March 3, 2018 at Finley Community Center in Santa Rosa.

We are looking forward to the 4th annual TRANSLIFE Community Conference in Fall 2019.
